Life is serving me well lately.

The drama production's over, and we're doing a documentary now, on this thing called clan jetty in Penang.
Clan jetty is like, hmm, houses on sea, and there are many different jetties, like chew jetty.. and i don't know what else. Gosh i don't know how to explain this place. Anyway, we're focusing on Chew jetty though, coz it's the most famous one (so said).
I fell in love with this place the first time i went there. Without a camera

i was very upset coz i saw so many beautiful things there and couldnt take pictures of it. So the next day, i went there with a camera~ ^^
This place is something like a housing area (built on the sea) and something like a popular tourism spot. So the people are very used to media and cameras and being interviewed. It was quite a good thing, coz we didn't need to ask for permissions to take pictures of people or something like that. The people are cool with the camera lens facing them XD
This is my first time taking pictures of things that are moving (eg: people and animals) and i realised one thing: we really can't turn back time.
Because we were doing interviews and shooting for the documentary, i had to carry the camera bag and the mic case and my bag and it's like, i discover something and want to take picture of it, i look around and see if the cameraman is shooting, i run away and faster put down the mic and the case and faster take out the camera and put on a lens and then faster take picture and faster remove the lens and put it back into the bag and then pick up everything and rush back to my team.
Gosh i could have died rushing.
And at that time, i did not know how to use the manual focus, so i used auto focus and some pictures (which could have been very nice!) turned out to be out of focus!

i was so upset...
and i did not know which lens to use! I borrowed the camera from my friend and there were altogether 4 lenses there and there's this new one, which is very short and small and i haven't asked him what it's for and thus i was all blur. Arghh! I wonder if the pics could have been better if only i knew the right lens to use!!!!!!!!!!
However, some pictures didn't turn out to be bad, they turned out to be pretty well i'd say, for my second attempt at photograpy. A big thanks to all who commented my photos, in friendster or here in deviantart and thanks for the favs! It sure feels good to be appreciated... I was very excited when i got my first fav!
But.. i am still quite upset that i'm still so bad at the focus and lenses and shutter speed and everything. Gosh. I should put in more effort!
I am young and i'm an amateur, but that will not be my excuse for any imperfections. Not working hard enough is.
I am very ashamed of myself.
